We get it - life happens. When something comes up, we've made it easy to cancel your shift or contact your manager directly
There are two different ways to cancel a shift:
- Shift details: selecting the 'cancel' button in the shift details (if your company enabled this option)
- Messaging your manager: notifying your manager through in-app messaging
Option 1: Shift details
The first step is opening the shift you're no longer able to make. Open the app, navigate to the Schedule tab, and click the shift you aren't going to be able to make.
Next, click the Cancel button above the map.
Option 2: Messaging your manager
In case you are not able to cancel using Option 1, you can also message your manager who can cancel your shift for you.
First, click the Message Manager button in the middle of the shift.
Second, send a message directly to your manager stating why you need to cancel the shift.
After you have sent a message in accordance with your company policies it's easy to follow-up and ensure your message was received. You can see if your manager has seen your message, even if they don't have a chance to reply immediately.
