For every mystery shop there is a Guidelines Document attached and you will be assigned a specific Persona.
Guidelines Tell You All About The Shop. Every Mystery Shop has a link to the Guidelines. While this document can be long, it contains everything you need to know about the Mystery Shop. From check in and image requirements, to shop objectives, to the prompts you'll use when speaking with the Sales Associate, you can find all of the information you need in this document.
Personas Represent a Shopper Group. For most mystery shops, you will be assigned a persona. Imagine this as a "character" you are playing when you complete your mystery shop. The persona you are assigned will guide you on what questions to ask and how to answer questions a Retail Sales Associate (RSA) might have. Persona details may include: Product Requirements, Planned Product Usage Type, Price Range, and more. By using personas, we are able to gather more detailed information on how RSAs guide and assist different types of customers. Important note: using the incorrect persona will result in a rejected shop.
Where to find your Assigned Persona:
- When you open the shop in your app and click start, Your assigned Persona will be right underneath the store location information.
- When starting your shop you will be required to review Persona Details. This will open a page that has your assigned persona as well as a Description.
- When you preview the survey or begin the survey, there will be a link highlighted in blue to the Shop Guidelines. Here you will find more details on personas.
